Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity remains unchanged since the last message. NOAA 12801 is now beyond the western limb, and has remained quiescent, but the loops remain visible in EUV images. As the visible solar disk remains spotless, NOAA 12801 shall continue to be the target region for a further 24 hours with no increase in activity expected.
The position of NOAA 12801 on 5-Feb-2021 at 12:30 UT is:
N30W79, ( 827", 501" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
