Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at very low levels. NOAA 12801 has now rotated behind the northwest limb. There appears to be a new bright region rotating on to the southeast limb as seen in EUV images. This shall be the new target region, although no significant change in activity is expected over the next 24 hours.
The approximate position of the target region on 7-Feb-2021 at 12:30 UT is:
S30E90, ( -842", -483" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
