Dear Collaborators,
Quiet-Sun conditions continue. The bright region approaching the central meridian in the southern hemisphere was the source of an A2.9 flare since the last message. The underlying plage continues to decay but it shall remain the target region. No significant increase in activity expected over the next 24 hours.
The approximate position of the target region on 13-Feb-2021 at 12:30 UT is:
S30E08, ( -122", -386" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
