Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity continues at very low levels. The alpha region NOAA 12803 in the northeast quadrant has produced only A-level activity since the last message, and appears to be in decay. Its negative polarity sunspot appears to be embedded in the trailing positive polarity plage. It shall continue to be the target region for the next 24 hours with only low-level flares expected.
The position of NOAA 12803 on 21-Feb-2021 at 12:30 UT is:
N21E42, ( -607", 428" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
