Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is very low. Over the past 24 hours the target region NOAA 12804 initially grew in spot area before starting to decay, and remains classified as a beta/D-type sunspot group. The smaller region NOAA 12805 produced the largest flare of the period (a B9.5 on 26-Feb-2021 at 07:02 UT) that was accompanied by a weak eruption. However, NOAA 12805 has now decayed to plage so NOAA 12804 remains the target. Throughout the period 12804 has again produced multiple B-class flares. More B-class activity is expected over the following 24 hours.
The position of NOAA region 12804 on 26-Feb-2021 at 23:00 UT is:
N19W59 , ( 790", 357" )
