Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has increased since the last message. Numerous B-class flares as well as a C1.2 flare were produced by a newly emerged region, numbered as NOAA 12807 at the beginning of UT today. 12807 has a beta/D-type configuration and will be today's target region. Yesterday's target region (now numbered as NOAA 12806) also has a beta/D-type configuration but only produced an A-class flare in the past 24 hours. Further B-class activities are expected with a chance of another low C-class flare over the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12807 on March 3 at 04:30 UT is:
S17E40 (-596", -191")
