Dear Collaborators,
The target limb region has now been designated as NOAA 12816 with a beta/C-type sunspot group. 12816 has produced three ~B1 flares and also several A-class flares since the last message. Please note that the largest X-ray event of the period was a B3.4 flare at 04/16/17:57 produced by NOAA 12814. 12814 also produced another two ~B1 flares and was re-classified as a beta/B-type region. The newly emerged region near NOAA 12814 was numbered as NOAA 12815 (beta/B-type) and produced a B1 flare. Further B-class activities are expected with a slight chance of a C-class event in the following 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12816 on April 17 at 15:30 UT is:
S24E50 (-670", -334")
