Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity has remained at the B-level for the past 48 hours. NOAA 12822 is still classified as a beta-gamma region but has begun to decay in spot size. The Major Flare Watch is therefore ending at this time. NOAA 12822 shall continue to be the target region, with B- and C-level activity expected over the next 24 hours.
The position of NOAA 12822 on 11-May-2021 at 11:30 UT is:
N18E26, ( -397", 337" )
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
