MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
Target region NOAA 2824 continues to be active
producing numerous C-class events and 2 M-class
events since the last message (M1.4 at 05/22/21:36
and M1.1 at 05/23/11:08 UT). 2824 is mostly unchanged
maintaining its beta-gamma magnetic configuration
with small opposite negative polarity satellite spots
located adjacent to the region's main positive polarity
leading sunspot. C-class events expected with another
M-class event likely. There is a chance for a >M1 event
in the next 24 hour period if new negative polarity satellite spots develop.
The position of NOAA 2824 on May 23 at 14:45 UT is:
N20E05 (Solar X = -078", Solar Y = 351")
