MM#009 Default Target
Dear Collaborators,
Solar flare activity continues at a very low level. The EFR located just north of the main leading polarity sunspot in NOAA 2833 added a few small spots and the leading polarity satellite spots located mostly south of the leading sunspot added some tiny spots. A- and B-class events possible with only an extremely low chance of an isolated C-class event.
The position of NOAA 2833 on June 19 at 14:45 UT is: N24W08 (Solar X = 121", Solar Y =362")
See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
