Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is low. The target region has been designated as NOAA 12894 and was classified as an alpha/H-type sunspot group at the start of the UT day. Since then 12894 has formed a small trailing-polarity spot and a leading-polarity spot in its interior. NOAA 12894 has continued producing many B-class flares and three C-class flares since the last message - the largest being a C2.3 on 5-Nov-2021 at 21:36 UT. High B-class activity is expected in the following 24-hour period, with a good chance for additional C-class flares. The position of NOAA 12894 on 6-Nov-2021 at 17:00 UT is: S27E57 , ( -724", -470" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
