Dear Collaborators,
Dear Collaborators, Target region NOAA 2900 continues to decay especially within its intermediate portion of its D-type/beta sunspot group. 2900 was the source of three minor B-class events in the past 24 hour period. The largest was a B3.0 at 11/30/00:20 UT. Additional B-class events possible with only a slight chance of an isolated C-class event in the next 24 hour period. The position of NOAA 2900 on November 30 at 15:00 UT is: S27W57 (Solar X = 729", Solar Y = -450") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
