The leading and trailing portions of the region have begun to merge together, which may result in increased sheering along the polarity inversion line. Major Flare Watch shall remain in effect with possibility of a >M5 flare over the next 24 hours. The position of NOAA 13014 on 20-May-2022 at 11:30 UT is: N22W03, ( 46", 388" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
