Dear Collaborators,
The level of solar activity is very low. The target region NOAA 13040 has decayed slightly since the last message but continues to be classified as a beta/C-type sunspot group. This region was once again the most active of the spotted regions on the disk by producing five B-class flares since the last message, including the largest in the period (a B6.6 on 29-Jun-2022 at 02:14 UT). Further B-class activity is expected in the next 24 hours. The position of NOAA 13040 on 29-Jun-2022 at 19:30 UT is: S12W36 , ( 541", -232" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
