Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a very low level. The target region remains unnumbered after rotating on disk. It shows a mature leading spot and appears to have an alpha/H-type sunspot classification. This region has been the only source of flares since the last message, producing five B-class events with the largest being a very long duration B5.5 flare on 30-Jun-2022 at 19:47 UT. Continued B-class activity is expected in the next 24 hours, with a good chance for a C-class flare. The approximate position of this region on 1-Jul-2022 at 15:30 UT is: N17E67 , ( -832", 258" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
