Dear Collaborators,
NOAA 13354 is now on the northwestern limb and has continued to produce C-level activity since the M1.5 flare yesterday. It remains classified as a beta-gamma-delta region although its precise size and magnetic configuration are uncertain at this time. We shall continue with the Major Flare Watch campaign in effect for a further 24 hours due to the possibility of an >M5 flare before the region rotates behind the western limb. The position of NOAA 13354 on 5-Jul-2023 at 07:30 UT is: N16W91, ( 906", 260" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
