Dear Collaborators,
Solar activity is at a high level. Target region NOAA 13576
grew slightly in terms of spot area since the last message,
and continues to be a beta-gamma-delta/F-type sunspot group
classification. This region again produced multiple C-class
flares and an M9.0 flare on 10-Feb-2024 at 22:56 UT - the
largest magnitude flare in the period. At this time we are
initiating an MM#003 Major Flare Watch on NOAA region 13576.
Additional M-class flares are expected over the following
24-hour period, with a good chance for another >M5 flare.
The position of NOAA 13576 on 11-Feb-2024 at 16:30 UT is:
S16W19 , ( 305", -164" )
