Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Thu, 13 Dec 2007 11:19:43 -0500 (EST) Dear RHESSI Collaborators, NOAA 0978 continued in growth phase yesterday adding sunspot count, area, and magnetic complexity. There is a tiny delta configuration located within the intermediate portion of the of the region's sunspot group. 0978 produced a C4.5 event at 12/13/10:03 and a C1.0 at 12/13/14:06 UT. Another C-class event probable with a slight chance of a low-level M-class event if the region continues in growth phase. Note: the New Cycle (24) plage, N27E55, 14:30 UT is spotless. The position of NOAA 0978 on December 13 at 15:30 UT: S06W21 (Solar X = 348", Solar Y = -091") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
