Date: Sun, 6 Jan 2008 08:45:11 -0500 (EST)

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar X-ray ray flux remains at background levels despite the presence of a third active region on the disk. The target shall continue to be the decaying plage of NOAA 10980 which still comprises an extensive loop system with an underlying filament. No significant activity expected.

The position of NOAA 10980 on 6-Jan-2008 13:00 UT is:

S06E08, ( -142", -42" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
