Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity maintains its extremely low level. Old NOAA 0980 is currently located just beyond the east limb at about S07 degrees where bright loops are now visible on the latest SOHO EIT full-disk images. The target is a somewhat dynamic northern polar crown filament. No significant solar activity expected today.

The position of the target on January 26 at 14:00 UT: N41E10 (Solar X = -128", Solar Y = 709")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
