Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

NOAA 0982 is mostly unchanged. No significant flare event expected today. The huge previously stable active region filament that runs along the main plage magnetic inversion line in old 0980 (0982 is a new region that emerged within the leading portion of old 0980)appears to have become active. There is a possibility that a portion or all of it will become eruptive.

The position of NOAA 0982 on February 03 at 17:00 UT: S08W12 (Solar X = 201", Solar Y = -033")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
