Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Mon, 24 Mar 2008 11:40:11 -0400 (EDT) Dear RHESSI Collaborators, New flux emergence within the target region has resulted in an increase in solar activity. New region, NOAA 0987, was the source of 3 B-class events since the last message. The largest was a B5.1 at 03/24/02:44 UT. A rapidly developing region is emerging just east of 0987 at S08E64. Both regions are currently Beta magnetic classification. Additional B-class events certain with the chance of a C-class event as well. The position of NOAA 0987 on March 24 at 15:00 UT: S08E41 (Solar X = -627", Solar Y = -047") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
