Date: Sun, 6 Apr 2008 12:44:10 -0400 (EDT)

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity is very low and is expected to continue very low. The target is a decaying, spotless plage - NOAA 0989. 0989 was the source of an M1.7 event on March 25. There is only a very slight chance of an isolated low-level event before 0989 rotates over the SW limb.

The position of NOAA 0989 on April 06 at 09:30 UT: S13W74 (Solar X = 899", Solar Y = -187")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
