Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Sun, 25 May 2008 06:11:34 -0400 (EDT) Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar activity is low today with little change expected. The is currently a large area of plage approaching the central meridian. The area is predominantly bipolar in nature and is overlayed by a compact coronal loop system visible at EUV and X-ray wavelengths. The area is not expected to produce significant activity. The approximate position of the area on 25-May-2008 10:00 UT is: S09E17, ( -275", -127" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
