Date: Fri, 12 Sep 2008 10:36:56 -0400 (EDT)

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar activity is extremely low and is expected to continue at an extremely low level. Tiny old cycle region, NOAA 1001, has decayed significantly. The target is a filament located in the northern polar crown zone.

The position of the target on September 12 at 10:30 UT: N53W37 (Solar X = 346", Solar Y = 700")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
