MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The target region now numbered NOAA 1034 was the source of an isolated C-class x-ray event today. 1034 is currently a beta sunspot group with just a few tiny spots visible in white light images but maintains very bright H-alpha plage. B-class events expected with another C-class event quite possble today.

The position of NOAA 1034 on December 10 at 14:00UT is: N18E65 (Solar X = -841", Solar Y = 304")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
