Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The target region NOAA 1039 continues to decay as it approaches the western limb. The region produced several B1 flares over the past 24 hours. Continued B-level activity likely with slight chance of an isolated C-class event before the region passes behind the limb.

The position of NOAA 1030 on 5-Jan-2010 at 14:30 UT is:

S28W80, ( 849", -448" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
