Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Sun, 24 Jan 2010 09:29:15 -0800 MM#009 Default HESSI Target Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Target region, NOAA 1041, is mostly unchanged. Recently emerged NOAA 1042 (N22W52) grew rapidly but is currently stable. Both regions have a D-type sunspot group with a beta magnetic configuration. 1041 and 1042 are capable of producing B-class activity with a slight chance of an isolated C-class event. The position of NOAA 1041 on January 24 at 16:30UT is: S24E25 (Solar X = -377", Solar Y = -319") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
