Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Thu, 8 Apr 2010 07:20:11 -0700 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar activity remains very low with only a single event occurring in the past 48 hours. Yesterdays target, NOAA 11061, has been very quiet, producing only a single flare since being numbered. At 04/08/02:30, NOAA 11060 produced a long-duration event of class B3.7. Although NOAA 11060 is well into its in its decay phase, an area of mixed polarity within the region may produce some small flares in the next 24 hours and so will become todays target. The position of NOAA 11061 on 8-Apr-2010 at 14:00 UT is: N24E06 ( -91", 481" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
