MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Target region, NOAA 1081, was the source of numerous B-class events and 5 C-class events since the last message but NOAA 1079 produced the largest event - an isolated M1.0 event at 06/13/05:39 UT. 1079 is too close to the SW limb to ascertain its magnetic complexity. NOAA 1081 has decayed slightly. There is a chance of additional C-class events and even another isolated M-class event from both the target region and 1079/1080 rotating over the SW limb.

The position of NOAA 1081 on June 13 at 13:30 UT is: N24W66 (Solar X = 789", Solar Y = 379")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
