Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Sun, 4 Jul 2010 15:01:20 +0100 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Although the Sun remains quiet in X-ray emission, several CMEs (in the NE and SW) have been associated with filament lift offs. Solar flare activity is expected to remain low, with some low-level events possible from multiple small simple regions, including NOAA 11084, a small emerging region around N18W35, and two regions in the NE quadrant. The target region will remain the small compact region in the NE, with some B-class events possible. The approximate position of this region at -4-July-2010 06:00UT is: N15E50 See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
