Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Mon, 5 Jul 2010 10:32:25 +0100 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, The level of solar activity remains extremely low. A relatively small, new-cycle, bipolar region has emerged in the North-West quadrant. The currently unnumbered region contains a minimum of two spots with opposite magnetic polarity and compact EUV-emitting loops. Some B-class events are possible. The approximate position of this region on 5-Jul-2010 at 09:30UT is: N18W45, ( 636", 255" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
