Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Tue, 6 Jul 2010 10:26:28 +0100 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar activity continues at a very low level. The bipolar magnetic region in the North-West quadrant is now designated as NOAA 11086. This region remains bright in EUV emission from compact loops and was the source of a long-duration B1.1 class event (peaking on 5-Jul-2010 at 21:25UT). Further low-level B-class events are possible. The position of NOAA 11086 on 6-Jul-2010 at 09:30UT is: N18W58, ( 764", 263" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
