Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Sun, 18 Jul 2010 10:51:15 +0100 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar activity is at a low level. NOAA 11087 has now evolved into a simple unipolar (alpha) spotted region with extended mixed-polarity leading and opposite-polarity trailing plage fields. The continued decay of this region produced a C2.4 flare at 17-Jul-2010 17:27UT. Further B-class events are probable. The position of NOAA 11087 on 18-Jul-2010 at 10:00UT: N23W38, ( 541", 314" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
