MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The target region was the source of small B-class activity yesterday but now has entered decay phase. The default target will switch to an EFR in the NE quadrant. B-class events expected with a slight chance of a C-class event if the EFR continues to develop. The region's sunspot group is currently classified as a small D-type with a beta magnetic configuration.

The position of the target EFRĀ on August 11 at 09:25 UT is: N15E35 (Solar X = -527", Solar Y = 160")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
