Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Quiet-Sun conditions continue. A new active region has begun to emerge close to the central meridian and shall be the new target region. It has a bipolar configuration with visible sunspots but has not yet been assigned an active region number. Chance for some low-level activity as the region continues to develop.

The approximate position of the target regionĀ on 29-Aug-2010 at 14:00 UT is:

N27W06, ( 92", 325" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
