MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

The target region is located east of the return of old NOAA 1100. The region was the source of 8 B-class events since the last message. The largest was a B5.5 at 09/10/23:18 UT. The region is too close to the east limb to ascertain its magnetic configuration. The single round leader sunspot near the SE limb marks the return of old NOAA 1100. B-class events expected with the chance of a C-class event.

The position of the target regionĀ on September 11 at 07:00 UT is: S19E80 (Solar X = -888, Solar Y = -328")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
