Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Tue, 28 Sep 2010 07:33:21 -0700 MM#009 Default HESSI Target Dear RHESSI Collaborators, NOAA 1009 has decayed somewhat in the trailing positive polarity portion but is still classified E-type/beta. The unlikely source of a C1.7 event at 09/28/09:48 UT is a tiny, recently emerged region (NOAA 1110) located just west of 1009 (N20W27). B-class activity probable with the chance of an isolated C-class event in the next few days from the target region 1109 or 1110. The position of NOAA 1009 on September 28 at 13:30 UT is: N22W06 (Solar X = 093", Solar Y = 252") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
