Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target
Date: Wed, 6 Oct 2010 10:10:05 -0400

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Quiet Sun conditions return with NOAA 11109 now completely over the limb. STEREO Behind images show an active region in the southern hemisphere, possibly the return of NOAA 11106, which may bring some increased activity when it rotates in to view over the next few days. For now though the new target shall be decaying plage of NOAA 11111 in the northwest quadrant. No significant activity expected at this time.

The position of NOAA 11111 on 6-Oct-2010 at 13:30 UT is:

N24W26, ( 385", 300" )

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
