Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Sat, 23 Oct 2010 12:02:59 +0100 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar activity is at a low level. No new regions have appeared on disk and the existing NOAA-numbered regions were declared simple alpha magnetic configurations at 23-Oct-2010 00:00 UT. NOAA region 11117 has undergone some spot emergence in its trailing opposite polarity plage region that would change its designation to a beta configuration, with an associated increase in EUV loop brightness. B-class activity is probable, with a chance of a C-class event. The position of NOAA 11117 on 23-Oct-2010 at 11:00 UT is: N23E30, ( -446", 307" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
