Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Wed, 27 Oct 2010 10:00:41 +0100 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar activity is at a low level. NOAA region 11117 has undergone another surge in growth, both in area and numbers of spots, which has resulted in it being designated a beta-gamma magnetic configuration. This region has continued to produce B-class events in the past 24 hours, the largest of which was a B7.0 on 27-Oct-2010 at 06:02 UT. Further B-class events are expected, with a chance for a C-class event. The position of NOAA 11117 on 27-Oct-2010 at 09:00 UT is: N21W20, ( 308", 274" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
