Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Sat, 30 Oct 2010 10:16:57 +0100 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar activity is at a very low level. A new region with bright UV plage emission and compact EUV-emitting loops is rotating over the NE limb. NOAA region 11117 remains as the target of choice with producing six B-class events in the past 24 hours, the largest being a B6.5 event on 30-Oct-2010 at 05:34 UT. Further B-class events are expected, with a small chance of a C-class event. The position of NOAA 11117 on 30-Oct-2010 at 09:00 UT is: N20W60, ( 787", 294" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
