Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Thu, 11 Nov 2010 11:18:01 +0000 Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar activity is at a low level. NOAA region 11121 has experienced rapid emergence of magnetic flux in its trailing plage region, resulting in a C1.1 event from NOAA 11121 on 11-Nov-2010 at 05:10 UT. Several spots are associated with this new bipolar flux and it is designated as NOAA 11123. This region has subsequently produced a C2.9 event on 11-Nov-2010 at 02:06 UT and a C4.7 event on 11-Nov-2010 at 07:15 UT. Further B- and C-class activity is expected, with a chance for an M-class event. The position of NOAA 11123 on 11-Nov-2010 at 11:30 UT is: S23E10, ( -152", -430" ) See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
