This event was associated with a CME, Type II radio burst, and a proton flux enhancement. 1149 has rotated beyond the west limb but it is possible that it will produce additional interesting above the limb events. The position of NOAA 1149 on January 27 at 16:30 UT is: N16W91 (Solar X = 935", Solar Y = 265") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
