MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

NOAA 1166 continues in decay phase. NOAA 1169 has added a small area of opposite polarity flux near the large leading penumbra. The default target will switch from 1166 to 1169 today. C-class activity probable with a slight chance of an isolated M-class event.

The position of NOAA 1169 on March 14 at 11:30 UT is: N20W41 (Solar X = 596", Solar Y = 414")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
