MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Target region, NOAA 1169, was the source of C-class activity and two M-class events since the last message. The largest M-class event was an M4.2 at 03/14/19:52 UT. The region has decayed somewhat after the M-class events but is maintaining a beta-gamma magnetic configuration with opposite polarity flux still located along the southwestern edge of the leading polarity penumbra. C-class activity expected with the chance of another M-class event.

The position of NOAA 1169 on March 15 at 11:30 UT is: N18W54 (Solar X = 743", Solar Y = 363")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
