MM#009 Default HESSI Target

Dear RHESSI Collaborators,

Solar flare activity is extremely low. All regions on the visible disk with sunspots have simple alpha magnetic configurations. No significant change in the low level of solar activity is expected anytime soon. The default target will continue to be NOAA 1214.

The position of NOAA 1214 on May 20 at 15:30 UT is: S24W65 (Solar X = 786", Solar Y = -372")

See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.

Regards,
