Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Sun, 22 May 2011 09:40:11 -0700 MM#009 Default HESSI Target Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Solar flare activity is very low. The target will switch to an EFR located in the northwest quadrant. The EFR is displaying bright H-alpha plage and dark arch-type filaments. It currently has a simple beta magnetic configuration. B-class events possible with a chance of a C-class event in the next few days if development continues. The position of the target region on May 22 at 12:30 UT is: N12W56 (Solar X = 771", Solar Y = 214") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
