Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Mon, 30 May 2011 09:06:06 -0700 MM#009 Default HESSI Target Dear RHESSI Collaborators, NOAA 1226 and 1227 were the source of several C-class events since the last message. The largest was a C8.7 event at 05/29/21:15 UT. Its source region was NOAA 1227 located just east of NOAA 1226. Both regions have beta-gamma magnetic configurations. Additional C-class activity expected with a slight chance of an M-class event in the next 24 hours. If possible, include both 1226 and 1227 within your F-O-V. The position of NOAA 1226 on May 30 at 10:30 UT is: S21E48 (Solar X = -658", Solar Y = -330") The position of 1226/1227 on May 30 at 10:30 UT is: S20E55 (Solar X = -730", Solar Y = -316") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
