Subject: MM#009 Default HESSI Target Date: Tue, 7 Jun 2011 09:29:49 -0700 MM#009 Default HESSI Target Dear RHESSI Collaborators, Nearly spotless target region, NOAA 1226, was the source of an isolated M-class event (M2.5 at 06/07/06:41 UT). This event was associated with a very sensational large and fast CME. 1226 has been decaying over the past several days with only a few small spots currently visible. A C-class event is still possible within the next 24 hour period. The position of NOAA 1226 on June 07 at 15:30 UT is: S22W61 (Solar X = 767", Solar Y = -355") See http://www.SolarMonitor.org for images and http://solar.physics.montana.edu/max_millennium/ops/observing.shtml for a description of the current Max Millennium Observing Plan.
